OMG I didn’t realize projection mapping had become so common that home sewers are using short throw projectors for patterns. So awesome! No more printing and tapping together pattern sheets

@annika whoa that's a cool project! Booting ISO files from the internet archive. Dragging files in and out.

Now I "just need" to be able to embed various states of these in my knowledge garden, and open it up as a community computer lab, and...

I'd like to suggest any fans of old sci-fi to check out the game The Invincible, based on the Stanisław Lem novel from 1964.
It's a story-based adventure game, about exploring an alien planet that seems to be dead. But I'd really like to recommend it for the aesthetics: they clearly tried to make this game look like it's set in the future of the 1960s, rather than the future of today.

    People of Mastodon, as you might have heard, #Eurovision takes place this Saturday.
    Now normally I don't really care about that, but somehow I ended up in a situation where I have to watch it. Thank you @satsuma, @Kitty and my wife 😜

    Early multitouch demos (MS research) were all about people sharing digital things around a table. Smol devices won... it's nice to be able to move around in a dynamic setting. And have the option to put screens away.
