I wonder if I worry about COVID because a ("mild") stroke at 43 taught me that medical problems that caused brain damage are NO JOKE.

@thepoliticalcat I prefer the term "walking plague sack" for COVID deniers.
Anyway, I lived a long time without any injury or illness that didn't heal. And then I didn't ("mild" stroke caused vision cut). It changed my outlook.

@etherdiver This is some wild isht. I'm pretty okay with it not sounding like Zep. Lots of zoomy, distorted synth tones. Like Eno but manic. I think there's actual playing in it.

Ever use a fixed resistor in parallell to a potentiometer on lugs 1 & 3?
How's it work out?
I figure one of equal value would halve the total load but also affect the taper?
EG 10 and 10 would 5 total but (5*10)/(5+10) ~= 3.3 with the pot turned halfway.

When I was just exploring instruments, I felt a lot more confident about my abilities as a guitarist. Now that I’m more focused on electric guitar, I am surprised at how I really feel it hard when all the “legendary” guitar lists I come across only feature men. I end up feeling like I don’t belong. I’m still a singer-songwriter first. But I want more female/non-binary/trans guitarists in my world, and some who are also living well and paying the bills with their music. :blobcatcoffee:

    @flockofnazguls My cords stop me from rolling over from my computer to my pedalboard. If I have to change something mid-take, it had better be a control on my guitar.

    I tried re-seating the tubes to stop the slight, intermittent, rustling noise.
    It got gated and spitty. Just guitar/amp/speaker. Turned off and on again, this came back after a few seconds.
    So I changed out the power tube. No longer spitty.
    Still rustles a bit sometimes.
