There’s a pattern with my children. When they spend an extended period of time with their father they become severely depressed and suicidal.
We are 3 for 3 now. F^ck. I’m trying hard to hold it together. Been on the phone all morning working on getting help.

I've been watching a Netflix docuseries called "Turning Point: the Atom Bomb and the Cold War".

I also just finished "Turning Point: 9/11".

It wasn't a surprise for the most part but what a violent, war-mongering, fear-manufacturing society we are.

I've changed my mind about the old adage about knowing history to not repeat it. We continually repeat mistakes not because we don't know better but because there will always be people who benefit from evil.

On this night 18 yrs ago, I was on day 6 of being in the hospital pregnant with twins when my water broke. They were 34 weeks and I was terrified they would not survive. I have never been more afraid in my life. My BP dropped to 40/25. It felt like the epidural was going to suffocate me. I could only move my right arm. I watched in panic as a pit crew of 16 in the OR worked together and at 7am on Jan 22nd they were born.
They are kind, loving, funny, and so incredibly smart! I did good. 🥰💙💙

Not happy today. The boys packed up and took some things to the other house. They plan to stay there more since they turn 18 tomorrow. Sigh… 😞
