lol. Shelter wouldn't let us take home fosters (in a hard shell carrier) in the because "it's too dangerous". I even deflated the tires a bit for this, for a smoother ride.

So many in , I'm so fucking tired of it.

[for background, every cat I've ever dealt with has been terrified in a car. They hate the speed, and the loud engine/vibrations. It's one of the reasons I started transporting my former cats by bike.]

@Andres4NY We chose to foster Cleo in part because she was with an organization that would transport their cats to you...after a year plus of driving the car (we no longer have) to ACC in Brooklyn & Manhattan. Even when the Queens location opens, it's still in a transit desert...sigh.

@Andres4NY Ridgewood. I'm sure it will be nice to have a new shiny place where there's space for a lot of kitties. but i was hoping it'd be somewhere I could walk or commute quickly to volunteer & i think that's probably just going to be too annoying to get to.

So I got an card today but the machine wouldn't accept my benefits card. Then, because i'm sick of having to choose between not getting my free rides after 12 rides OR getting out a credit card at the turnstyle, I registered my card online and put money on it from my benefits card that way, which, before I was exhausted from the dumb machine, I remembered saying I would never do. This is how they get you, sigh.

Today’s commuting drama: got to the F to find the next train would be 19 minutes! So i walked 10 minutes to the E stop. Probably will make my train (?) but i am quite sweaty already—basically my normal commuting state, though it’s been a while

There is a switch problem causing delays on the F. Left 2 hours before i have to be on campus. But if i miss my lirr then i miss my shuttle & i’ll be late even thiugh 2 hours is ridiculous for 15 miles

to be clear i didn't live with Karl Rove or lagerfield. thank goodness. it was just an ordinary Karl who grew weed in the attic and came back from the trail smelling like something from another world (an awful, pungent, toxic world).

Also once he gave me and another roommate pizza with shrooms on it and forgot to tell us
