De ondermijning van de vrije nieuwsgaring is een onderdeel van het playbook voor een ieder die autocratische ambities heeft. Wilders had zijn zinnen al gezet op de NPO, op deze manier raakt dit radicaal rechtse kabinet ook de private nieuwsbedrijven.

Looking for people who blog in using .

I use Markdown a lot & it works well for me. Having recently moved to Wordpress, I find the Gutenberg-type editors very nice for fancy effects, but not for just writing.

Unsurprisingly, I'm facing 24 WP plugins that promise Markdown heaven, and I'd rather not try them all.

Anyone out there would like to share experiences in this matter, please do. @wordpress perhaps?

@talksina Come to think about it, named links in markdown are probably best to make things orderly. If you know what I mean (I can explain if you want).

Something else: How do you pronounce , or what is it an abbreviation of?

I gather the context is Alt-text, which I do write wherever possible. I know hashtag alt 4 me and hashtag alt 4 you, but this one is new to me.

So let me get this right: Europol wants to not have E2EE because it would prevent them finding CSAM / CSE (among other things), but Europol also doesn't have a CyberTipline API for organisations to report CSAM / CSE to law enforcement?

So you aren't receiving reports of CSAM / CSE efficiently from existing services, but arguing you want to violate everyone's privacy to "find CSAM / CSE"

Did I get that right?

Not to dispute your point (the CSAM argument is a front), but Europol does not take any tip directly from a member of the public.

People report to the local police. (In what way can vary from country to country - I can just call them, send mail, send app...)

Who then might take it to Europol.

Dutch police claim they do get a lot of reports. Last november they sent out 95 warnings to people downloading and or in posession of csam.

More here, from a newspaper with a good reputation, but in Dutch, you may be able to run it through a translator.
