    @DrALJONES I don't think the Gazan civilians are "collateral damage" - I think the deaths of any Hamas fighters are the "collateral damage" as Israel attempts to murder as many as possible of the 2 million people they have trapped in the concentration camp called Gaza.

They are fighting for the lands they live in against an external enemy.     @halcyoncmdr @Silverseren Quite right. Hamas is a political organisation, and recognised as such by many (but not the Zionist supporting West). The Oct 7th attacks were carried out by the military wing of Hamas, not its politicians. I am unsure as to the level of integration between the 2 parts.

    @Radixi @oatmeal @israel @palestine Golda Meir is one of those women who make it hard to claim that female politics is kinder than male politics. She was a devout Zionist, a warmonger, a colonist intent on the deaths or subjugation of the indigenous people of Palestine. A pity she did not share the clear vision of Amira Hass.
