The US doesn't get involved when there's , when over 10,000 children are murdered, or when a nation is facing starvation & disease; we get involved when someone is getting in the way of international commerce. Sure, intervening in the is reasonable to deal with , but the ≠ all . Bombing another country's inland targets does not fix the situation, it kills innocent people in the process. This is why people hate America.

That ignores EVERYTHING Israel did before the Oct 7 attack. The illegal annexation & occupation of Palestinian territory since 1950. In 2022 alone, Israel had razed 55,048 Palestinian Homes & killed hundreds of Palestinians. This year the Israeli police raided the Al-Aqsa Mosque during evening prayers during Ramadan. The Oct 7 attack by Hamas did NOT come out of nowhere. It's an armed resistance in response to escalating attacks & the endless occupation.

Israel uses white phosphorus over civilians. Israel tells Palestinians in Gaza to move south or risk being seen as 'terrorist' partner. Israel then bombs southern Gaza.

BOTH Israel and Hama have made attacks on civilians. BOTH are guilty. But blaming both ignores historical context, and the fact that both sides are not equal.

More than 1,400 Israelis were killed on Oct 7, but the death toll has stay about the same since. That was a one day attack by Hamas. Israel has been attacking every day for a month and have killed over 10,000 and over 1.4 million Palestinians displaced.

Israel has blocked trade to Gaza and even foreign aid of food, fuel, or other goods to the Palestinians. They control the utilities, and have shut off electricity, phone, internet, and even water. Israel created an open-air prison and has created an humanitarian crisis. Israel is in complete control.

The difference between Hamas killing civilians & Israel killing civilians is that Hamas is fighting to defend their homeland from occupying forces, and Israel is state-sponsored terrorism in an attempt to forcibly take Palestinian territory. Hamas made one attack that lasted less than a day 1400 Israeli dead. Israel is the 10th largest military in the world has attacked everyday for over a month, invaded territory, destroyed homes, and killed over 10,000.

A 3rd person is suing the Department over a false arrest caused by the use of technology. arrested Porcha Woodruff, a 32yo Black woman, for robbery & carjacking based off a facial recognition hit from surveillance footage. But Woodruff didn't do it, and charges against her were eventually dismissed for lack of evidence. Critics say this is more proof the technology is flawed, racially biased, and dangerous.

The City of #AnnArbor will give #GuaranteedIncome monthly cash payments to a group of about 100 low-income households, using $1.6 million of its #AmericanRescuePlanAct (#ARPA) funds.

5/31/1921 was one of this country's most horrifying episodes of racist mob violence. Hundreds of Black residents were killed in the .
