Have I spent part of my #summer taking pictures of #BumbleBees yes, yes I have. Gardening has been kind to me; most of the things I planted turned into delicious #fruits, #vegetables, and #flowers and, as if that wasn’t enough, it has reminded me to hit pause and take a closer look at the world around me. Accidentally #vegan lunch on this #laborday slow day. My cooking style is "improvise by throwing whatever the heck #vegetables have been sitting around in the fridge, into the pan and pressure cooker"…
Used diced tomatoes in their juice for the base bouillon, and some leftover olives jar brine. I kinda suck at thinking of tasty sauces/bouillons.
One of the specialties from the garden.
Due to the hot summer, the P20 Blue tomatoes have an extremely high proportion of dark blue-black (high anthocyanin content) and sugar.
Would you like to see more #BlueHillFair pictures? Of course you would! One of the best parts of getting there on the first days is you get to see the judging going on. Also, by Monday, some of those veggies will be looking a little tired. #sheep#vegetables#herbs
The latest iteration of my cuke/tomato salad schema, put together just in time before the weather heats up again (though not as fiercely as last week).
