So now that the 13th floor's imagination engine is up and running smoothly, I thought this would be a good time to go over how it works, and how best to use it for your own enjoyment and creative inspiration....
So I'm at the point where I'm pretty aggressively promoting the #Algorythms#podcast across various avenues of social media.
Even (reluctantly) used that bluebird hellsite. Probably the only reason I still occassionally bother with it.
Also, while one of my co-hosts is taking a trip to Japan, me and Duke (my other co-host) plan on doing a short episode. Either a punk act (The Clash; 6 albums) or a hip-hop act (Beastie Boys; 8 albums). Ideally, I would have Run-DMC or Public Enemy as a first hip-hop act, but as the co-host that is on the Japan trip is a fan of both of them, it'd be a dick move to do it while he's away.
#Update: Der erste von uns beauftragte Sonderflieger der Lufthansa landete gerade in Tel Aviv, 3 weitere folgen heute. Zusätzlich ist für heute Nachmittag eine Fähre nach Zypern organisiert. Deutsche Staatsangehörige sind hierüber über das ELEFAND-System informiert worden.
Danke auch, Deutsche Bahn, ungefragt die Bahn App aktualisieren und Benutzer abmelden. Sehr ärgerlich, wenn man unterwegs ist, sein 49 € Ticket oder ein anderes vorzeigen muss, aber seine Zugangsdaten nicht zu Hand hat. So musste ich heute ein Bus- Ticket für 11,30 € kaufen.#Bahn#DeutscheBahn#BahnApp#Update#Deutschlandticket ... das wird sicher noch viele andere echt ärgern. Nur der #RMV darf sich über meinen Ticketkauf freuen.

Circle K is not to blame for a defective lid. I re-use my cups and lids; this one has reached the end of its useful life and will go into the recycle bin.
Wondering if, overnight, Circle K changed the sip-through lids for their XL coffee; I've never been a dribbler. God, I hope it's not me.

Die erweiterte #Suche muss sicher erst einmal etwas indizieren, ich bin ziemlich gespannt.
Wie sind denn die Erfahrungen derer, die auf mastodon.social etc. schon eine Weile in den Genuss der Neuerungen gekommen sind? Ändert die Volltextsuche die Nutzung so grundlegend, wie viele das erwarten? Was ist noch spannend?
How do you keep track of your software updates and latest releases?
I am not talking about your OS, but mostly hosted web applications on linux (docker and non-docker). For docker I know there is watchtower but I am not searching for automation.
Subscribing to RSS feeds, mailing lists, bookmarking some git repositories, following some projects on mastodon, using mail notification on updates if possible... is there any better approach?
Edit: I should have read the article more closely. The binary blob is optional and off by default, so IMO, the whole debate against MicroG is aughable, unless you have a compatibility problem, which is definitely possible, though it probable. Sandboxed GSF has its pros and cons, too.
