@thunderbird How would I debug #caldav#tasks not being fetched with #thunderbird 115.9.0 (64-bit) #flatpak? New tasks created in Thunderbird are pushed to the CalDAV server but such that are created on other devices are not pulled. The tasks sync fine with Tasks.org on my Android phone. I already tried to look at the Flatpak log, but nothing related shows up.
In particular WHY that particular method? need cross device/platform? 2 b available online? What (about this, or any method) are challenges to you? Do you struggle to organize your notes? What would you wish was better?
Viimeinen lomapäivä, eli on hyvä hetki suunnitella loppuviikon kalenteri.
Besides Trello (with automation) and TickTick, does anyone know of a quick task manager program for IOS/web, desktop client for Windows good but not necessary, that supports natural language date parsing in the subject? So if I write "feed cats tonight at 5pm" it will create a task called "feed cats" and set a reminder for this evening at 5:00pm automatically? Ticktick does this and works great, just curious as to if there's anything better. Tried a couple like Google Tasks and Taskade and they don't. #tasks#reminders#todo
Started using Habitica again. Used it years ago with my daughter. Immediately hooked again. Don't really know why I stopped, I guess it wasn't important to track regular home habits. But I'm noticing if I don't have anything to list my chores with, I start drifting... I forget to water my plants etc.
Habitica is awesome, open source, you can self-host it too!
Todoist has a new layout (beta). Not radically different. They've consolidated most of the options to one side instead of along the top. I like it. https://todoist.com/ #GTD#Todoist#Tasks
Have started using the #Obsidian#Tasks plugin as I'm creating meeting minutes with action items that I've decided to turn into tasks. Created an amalgamated tasks overview page that works really well, shows me all tasks aggregated from all meeting minutes pages that have them. I know I've messed with this stuff before but.. I'm evolving..
I mean seriously. This stuff is FREE. Sure, not for business use, but it's cheap as piss even for that (personally costs me nothing as the biz foots the bill) but for a regular joe blow, good god, if you aren't using Obsidian, try it!
I regularly post questions of the day on a variety of subjects (thank you #neurodivergent#brain) but I'm making this one a question of the year bc it is that fundamental to my success as a person.
The reward for contributing meaningful (or humorous) answers to this question will be my sincere appreciation (valued at $0.02 USD).
THE QUESTION:
How can I seamlessly integrate a "lite" tool that operates across platforms (Windows, Linux, Android atm) into my second
When on a computer I oftentimes find myself falling back to a simple text editor (#Notepad++ on Windows), but I eventually end up moving this data into another system.
Unser Kollege Christoph erklärt, wie „heavy work“ #QGIS-#Tasks im Hintergrund erledigt werden können, ohne dass dabei die reaktionsschnelle Benutzeroberfläche verloren geht.⚡
Nice to see people so involved with Obsidian here!
OK, these are my favourite five plugins per category. The links lead to a blog post I've written where I detail what each plugin does and from where they can be downloaded, both via GitHub and via Obsidian desktop:
