Preview for Killzone 2 on Playstation 3 from GamesMaster 203 - October 2008 (UK)
While the game had it's issues, especially with input latency, I loved playing this one online.
The various modes during each round were such a breath of fresh air compared to the normal deathmatch stuff.
Thanks to the lovely request from @vanacksabbadium I present to you my latest work.
Feast your eyes on the Shadow of the Beast 3 banner. 😊
I might actually do the banners for the part 1 and 2 as well, so stay tuned. 🙂 #amiga#art#retrogaming#oldgames
...to enable a cheat or other effects. 🎮
The Konami Code was created by Gradius developers finding the game too difficult to play through during testing.
They created the cheat code, which gives the player a full set of power-ups (normally attained gradually throughout the game). After entering the sequence using the controller when the game was paused the player received all available power-ups. 🚀
Somebody has made a Super Mario Maker for the #N64 called #MarioBuilder64. Pretty awesome full of tools for making your own Mario 64 stages. Yes, it works on real hardware.
Not even close. In that game alone, there were harder puzzles. But elsewhere in Infocom’s catalogue – and more widely in text adventures – there were tougher tests.
Where the Babel Fish puzzle got things right was through being clever, funny and absurd, and in also deviating radically from expectations. It’s as far as possible from other media, where the fish is simply put into Arthur’s ear. And so that makes it memorable. #retrogaming
i haven't seen anyone talk about this project, and i can't believe how fast it has matured since i peeked in on it last year.
Fallout 1 & 2 Community Edition are full-on reverse engineered re-implementations of the game engines for win/mac/linux/ios/android.
FO1 was never much of a problem, because it ran very well in dosbox for decades. but FO2 was always another story - it was a 32-bit windows-only title, and it's always been a real pain in the ass to run.
Hey #IndieDev peoples, when do you share about a project? Does sharing help or hurt your motivation? Have you tried different strategies? I’d love to boost some of your stories and experiences.
Remember the petition about "Require videogame publishers to keep games they have sold in a working state" & the response saying "Those selling games must comply with UK consumer law. They must provide clear information and allow continued access to games if sold on the understanding that they will remain playable indefinitely."
Well the Petitions Committee has stepped in and say it did not respond directly to the petitiion request
The #FreeStars: Children of Infinity #Kickstarter has 4 more hours to raise another $19k to meet the next stretch goal: English voice acting! Fans of #StarControl and #RetroGaming, please help us get a strong finish for this campaign for a feature so many of us want! Boosts appreciated.
I have a really big wish to create #Amiga related videos on YouTube, but I am having a hard time figuring out the required free time the extra production will take (I already have one YT channel). And everyone told me not to mix topics on one channel because viewers hate that.
