On November 7, 2023, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad ( #PIJ)) published its first direct combat footage between its fighters and Israel Defense Forces (IDF) inside Gaza Stip
During the video, a group of 2 fighters are seen moving across the rubble of #Gaza city's outshirks neighborhoods under heavy fire carrying nothing, but #RPG systems.
After sometime running around and fleeing from IDF indirect fire, the fighters engage and ambush a #IDF#Merkava 4 Paz #Tank with Anti-Armor rocket systems, firing at it from behind.
According to the Militant group, the clash took place northwest of Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, Northtwestern Gaza Strip
Per war Noir, PIJ fighters who carried out the attack appear to be armed with an RPG-7 Launcher with 105mm "Al-Yassin" Tandem anti-tank rocket, despite not wearing any kind of body armor or similar protection
