I managed some bed-coding this evening on #pachac. Skelebobs are moving now and pips are being eaten. I'm getting more of a feel for the functions I'll need for the game.
Someone pointed out that rpm strips packages faster than pacman so a little bit of xargs hacking later and I've shaved off 1.5/2 seconds of the pacman package building.

Damals wahrscheinlich noch sehr günstig. 😉 Im Grundprinzip waren das einfache Würfelspiele - aber wer spielte solche Würfelspiele dann nicht lieber im Pac-Man-Modus, siehe Foto, oder anderen geliebten Videospeilfiguren, als in langweiligen Varianten. 😂
#pacman is, at least for me, ultimately a game about greed-management: 9 times out of 10 when I die it's because I'm being reckless trying to get the fruit or trying to get 'just one more' ghost after eating the power pellet.

I am having some updating issues with one of my #Manjaro machines. Does anyone know what is the issue?
The #pacman log file (bottom terminal) does not show anything, and the pacman itself just complains that JRE and JRE headless are in conflict. I have JRE but not the headless, and I don't know for which package pacman wants to install JRE headless.
@Gamrok You dodged a bullet there. While #MsPacMan is a very faithful adaptation of the arcade game to the #Atari2600 (considering the platform's limitations), #PacMan on the 2600 is widely regarded a failed attempt despite only having been published one year earlier.
