Linux being harder, or requiring more CLI ,than Windows is a myth.
If you select a desktop focused distro like Pop_OS, Ubuntu or Fedora the chance of a "normie" needing to use the CLI in 2023 are vanishingly small. Most things can simply be installed with a single click.
Before you go off about it, note there are ALWAYS edge cases or special configs on any OS that might require some tinkering with the guts of the thing. Those aren't proof of the majority.
That’s it. I’m throwing in the towel. Linux ricing is not for me. I’m deleting #archlinux and installing #Ubuntu. It’s dumb to think I can just walk off the street and make a better desktop environment than teams of people dedicated to that. Looking forward to actually doing the stuff I want to on my device rather than modifying dotfiles all night.
