The nextcloud engineer knows what the problem is I am having.
However, he does not give the answer because he insists I should "read his documentation better"

I absolutely agree with your hesitancy to help rude people.
As I read it, the first paragraph of the documentation described is a request for help with making their documentation more readable.
#Nextcloud come across as folks who are open to asking for help. I didn't check the changelog; I accept that it could be as a result of your inquiry that they've asked for help there, but either way, from that forum interaction they come across to me as good folks.
I'm sorry this doesn't reflect how you experienced things.

One thing I'm thankful for with #AI and #NextCloud is I was able to very quickly find all the pictures that I had of my mom which has helped for the funeral preparations. I created an upload link for relatives to share their photos as well, and the facerecognition app was very quick to identify and tag her in them as they were uploaded. It made a very difficult thing less difficult and for that I am grateful.
@AntennaPod I ditched Pocketcasts for AntennaPod just a months ago and I never looked back. The most advanced function I'm loving so far is cross device synching powered by the #gpoddersync#nextcloud app and my desktop podcast client #kasts. It works like a charm: I can start listening to an episode on my desktop and continue were I left off on my android phone using AntennaPod. Amazing. Thank you guys for this wonderful piece of software!
Hello, it's me, a trusted expert in open source computing with nearly two decades of experience. I wrote this article. I could not, for the life of me, figure out why my the official #Nextcloud Docker image was suddenly refusing to bind to port 80 in the container.

Je cherche des choses accessibles financièrement (pas spécialement gratuites), avec une page web claire où l'on sait ce qu'on achète comme service (beaucoup de #Chatons sont sûrement très bien, mais on adhère souvent avant tout à une asso militante, ça peut décourager et c'est pas toujours très clair). Et bien sûr hébergement dans un datacenter, pas une maison (ça exclut des chatons).

Server runs #nextcloud and #wordpress (multisite). So a lot of php going on.
Couldn't find how to tell php-fpm, "Fill yer boots! But you only get a total of 6Gb of the 16Gb system RAM ok?"
Lots of individual per process limit settings but can't find the broad brush. Left as it was it just grabs more and more and more memory, crossing the 50% threshold after a week or so.
My bodge works! But am I a dang fool!?

Shared grocery list, either one with an iphone app or much better, a UI that works on any browser. Couldn't find much when I last looked, and #Nextcloud Notes app is not as good/robust as Google Keep. Definitely something I could do, if my meds keep working, myself...

Wij gebruiken #Nextcloud al jaren en natuurlijk is er wel eens een dingetje mee, maar mijn ervaring is dat het een stuk stabieler en voorspelbaarder is dan de niet #opensource en niet #selfhosted oplossingen van de Big Tech oplossingen.
