Hi, hello! I'm looking for a new #Mastodon client for iOS and would like to know which one you use and could recommend. Free is nice of course, but I'm willing to spend a little money if it's a really nice app. :owi:
I’ve been working on a new macOS app, it’s a Mastodon client! I started it in January and went full development from July onwards. The client is made specifically for the Mac, conforming to the design language very seriously. I aim to make it a true Mac app with platform-specific features. Here is a screenshot, what do you think?
For those who do not use tools to curate their home timeline, I understand that my post shows up in their timeline based on its datetime. If I post something and then #boost a bunch of additional posts, am I burying my “real” post?
I prepared #DOjS and #DOStodon for the upcoming #curl patch. #mbedTLS will be updated as well because it contains TLS fixes.
We need to keep all the #MSDOS machines out there safe, don’t we? 😁
#mastodonclient Is there a web app that allows you to be signed into multiple accounts at the same time? The default one does not seem to like that. I can do this on mobile apps no problem, but I prefer to use my computer for this while I'm using my computer. If there is no web app, is there an app that works on Windows 11 Desktops?
Mastodon clients in the Apple ecosystem can sync timeline read position using iCloud.
That’s nice because you can always continue reading your timeline from where you left of, even if you switch from phone to computer etc.
Would it be technically possible to instead have a timeline read position as a variable connected to your account in the server that clients can read and write to? 🤔
That way it wouldn’t matter which client or OS you are using, you could still have a synced timeline experience.
