TIL I'd started a very hard jigsaw when only about 8 of the edge pieces weren't completely white and there were loads of completely white middle pieces #jigsaw
I’ve just finished my first solo puzzle after not doing any (except family Christmas ones) in more than a decade.
I found this new-to-me puzzle maker called Cobble Hill. I really like their selection - although if memory serves me righ the Ravensburger puzzles click together in a more satisfying way.
Anyways, I’ll be definitely starting a new one during the dark, cold days of February. #JigsawPuzzle#puzzles
Hear me out. I love winter. I really do. As a native Californian, I will never get over the delight of having the real seasons I enjoy here in the Midwest.
... but I must admit, the lack of blooms to harvest right out my back porch, the distinct lack of roses in the air, and the absence of looking forward to weekly photo sessions with my flowers really has left a hole in my heart. If you're that person, the person who right now feels like peony and rose season is much too far away, then my floral puzzle collection can be a balm for your soul. Pick a puzzle or two to save for a rainy day, or for a cozy and bright activity for two.
Rest assured any puzzle you choose from my shop is human made by me, not AI created.
The deadline for Christmas puzzle shipping with the Priority option at the latest is December 13th and it's December 8th for Standard shipping.
my characters are talking to me again and they have a lot to say but this is revealing a flaw in my new workflow. before it was re-read the story a few times, like revving up an engine, attempt to take a nap, fail at that, and if they suggested something, go back to the text, find a place to fit it into and write.
but i ran out of places to fit things into and i've reread it enough i'm a bit blind to it so i've started revving up on other bits and then writing. and now nothing fits.
The thing about buying used jigsaw puzzles is you expect to be missing a piece every now and again. So for the really rare puzzles, I sometimes buy two
And then it turns out that they're cut from different templates, and the pieces aren't interchangeable, and you realize how loud a scream echoes in the desert
