MAGA Mike Johnson announces his plan to “go after” the United States system of justice.
Why this plan is destined to end in failure like most of Republican’s plans to protect felon Donald Trump.
MAGA Mike Johnson has announced his “three pronged approach” to ”go after” the Dept. of Justice. The FBI, local DA’s, Judges, juries and anyone involved in the administration of justice in the U.S.
White Nationalist Mike Johnson plans to use the ⭕ appropriations process, ⭕ Anti law and order legislation and
⭕ Congressional oversight to greatly weaken if not destroy America’s justice system.
What has caused this drastic reaction from the #TrumpStooge who is supposed to serve all of the citizens of the U.S.?
Johnson is committed to destroying our entire system of justice in service to one FELON. Remember Election Denier Liar Mike Johnson led the attempt to use FRAUDLENT ELECTORS, throw out valid electors in 2020 and return the election to the states.
As expected, the House Reps who want defund #NATO include much of the pack who supported Trump's coup in 2020. Nearly half the sitting Reps with Congressional Insurrection Index rankings voted today to destroy our alliances (colored in ss below, which shows post-Jan 6 scores).

Alito’s Aggrieved Letter to #Congress Tips His Hand in the Jan. 6 Cases
“No one should be surprised that the author of Dobbs—a decision that cherry-picked and butchered history to reach a preferred outcome—would ignore the intimate ties between this flag and fringe right extremists. For #Alito and his fellow GOP appointees, originalism means slicing and dicing history to fit whatever reality you favor. The flagrant violation of the flag code? The winking support for “Stop the Steal”? It means exactly what the justice wants it to, and nothing more. Your offense is the real offense.”
"Tens of millions of Americans reasonably doubt that Alito can fairly discharge his duties. Alito is gaslighting the American people—a technique he learned from Trump. Having been caught in his lie he is doubling down on the lie—while pretending to be aggrieved that Americans doubt his veracity.
This debacle is a stain on the Court and an indictment of Justice Robert’s leadership."
Justice Samuel A. Alito, Jr. announced Wed that he will not recuse himself from Jan. 6-related cases at #SCOTUS after Democratic lawmakers questioned whether he could be impartial following reports that an upside-down #flag flew at his home in the weeks after the… [#insurrection].
“Justice Alito has no problem telling American women they lack the right to make decisions about their own bodies and health. But apparently, he can’t tell his wife to take down a flag that calls the integrity of his decisions on the Supreme Court into question. He doesn’t care. He has life tenure and there are no repercussions binding ethics rules he must obey.”
As Jody Kantor shows, Alito's flag story doesn't add up.
"The justice told Fox News that his wife hoisted the flag in response to Ms. Baden’s vulgar insult. A text message and the police call — corroborated by Fairfax County authorities — indicate, however, that the name-calling took place on Feb. 15, weeks after the inverted flag was taken down."
The Badens are the neighbors that Alito blames for provoking his wife to fly her flag.
"U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito has formally refused to recuse from any and all cases involving indicted ex-president Donald Trump or the January 6, 2021 attack on the seat of the American government and American democracy itself."
Constitutional law scholar and professor of law Eric Segal responds:
Justice Sonia #Sotomayor admitted being moved 2 tears by #Supreme Court decisions that she did not agree w, reflecting on her emotional experiences in her time on Court. Sotomayor shared her emotional response to cases in speech at Harvard Radcliffe Institute, highlighting her personal struggles, dedication to her work. The 69-year-old Justice made these comments during an event honoring her at #Harvard, where she received an award for her contributions. #insurrection#constitution#democracy
As Chris Geidner reports, Washington Post knew three years ago about Alito's wife flying the insurrectionist flag of white Christian nationalism, and buried the story.
"As Alito provided an essential fifth vote hollowing out the Fourteenth Amendment’s bar to insurrectionists’ holding office, the Post sat silent."
“… honestly, just how many insurrectionist flags must be flown at the Alitos’ homes before we conclude the obvious? Justice Alito is an insurrectionist sympathizer, and he actually wants the world to know it.
Let’s be clear about what this means. Alito is giving our entire democracy the finger. He has expressed public allyship with the enemies of our Constitution instead of upholding his oath of office. And he’s also a coward and a liar, unwilling to speak his traitorous words aloud, yet ready to throw his wife under the bus the moment he’s questioned about these displays.”
"Now it turns out that a flag representing the idea that the 2020 election was stolen, that the people should engage in armed revolution against tyranny, and that the United States should be a nation based in Christian theology has been flying over the home of Justice Alito, who is supposed to be defending the United States Constitution impartially."
"Democrat Rep. Steve Cohen, a member of the Judiciary Committee, has introduced resolution to censure Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito after an upside-down flag was flown at his home after the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riot."
"Shortly after the Times story [about Alito and the insurrectionist flag] ran, Republicans on the House Committee on the Judiciary posted on X a picture of Alito and Thomas with the all-caps caption, 'AMERICAN HEROES.' They’re praising Alito and Thomas because it triggers the libs, those beleaguered folks who foolishly believe that norms and rules matter."
"A new report released Tuesday by States United Action, a group that targets election deniers, said nearly one-third of the lawmakers in Congress supported in some way Trump’s bid to overturn the 2020 results or otherwise cast doubt on the reliability of elections. Several more are hoping to join them, running for election this year to the House and Senate."
