Shameless blatant begging post : What fountain pen inks are you running with this month, and what has been your favorite this last month?
I am mildly irritated by the dryness of Diamine Registrar's, and Noodlers' Inks still somehow manage to beat my expectations (Twisbi Eco with Rome Burning, Pilot Metro with Antietam). #fountainpens#inks#notebooks
I got a pleasant surprise when a package from @paradoxmo arrived today! Generously picked up a couple brightly colored vintage Pilot Elites for me from the Tainan Pen Show after the ones I first showed interest were purchased already, and included some ink/samples! Thanks so much! ✨🖋️

Just tried Diamine Oxblood for the first time and I'm a bit...underwhelmed. It looks like it doesn't shade very much, and looks just uniform brown, as opposed to Noodler's Antietam that can go from anywhere from red-orange to red-brown/dark-red.
Anyone got similar ideas? ...tbf I also have a bottle of Diamine Writer's blood that I can mix with it probably. 🤔 #inks#notebooks#fountainpens
An hour ago we had an earthquake magnitude of about 5. I am happy to report that all of my #FountainPens and #inks survived! Yes, that was the first things I checked.
Can anyone recommend ink diluting solution? Besides today's ink being so dark it's basically black, I have a few other really dark inks that I think would look better diluted, and I would prefer not messing with distilled water. #FountainPens#inks
I watched a YT video from Chris Saenz where she mentioned a Platinum “Sugar Plum” ink. I didn’t think Platinum had inks named that, but I found this page which has a bunch of recipes for ink colors using their mixable inks, including a Sugar Plum. I may have to play around with this.
Been watching lots of ink swatching videos on YT. My ink library is already kind of ridiculous, so seeing more inks I want to try doesn’t help, but I can’t resist! 😆
The color of these tulips is amazing! Random question, does anyone know of a fountain pen ink that matches this? Bonus if it has multicolor shading like these tulips.
Robert Oster, like Diamine, have so many inks that a lot of them seem the same, but renamed. I watched this Yoseka Stationery video showing off a ton of ink swatches and there were many times I thought, “didn’t I just see this ink?” 🤔
