Yay, a #Diamine#Inkvent color I finally like unconditionally! 😆 (I like Early Dusk, also, but this one is slightly higher in the tier list) Day 8 is up on my #blog:
It took a while to put together, but here's my post for #InkSwatchWednesday, coinciding with the 1st of the month, the typical time to update my batch of currently inked pens.
Hi, All. I have a blog that I've moved to the Ghost platform, and would love to see it grow there. I mainly post a picture a day, either one I took on the day, or a picture from my archives that I decide to post. I also talk about fountain pens, inks, and sometimes stationery, and tech and gadgets. If any of this interests you, please check out CJ's Wunderkammer (German term for "cabinet of wonders"):
My favorite part about #Spring arriving is that I can order liquids in glass jars like #fountainpen#inks without worrying about them freezing and shattering in transit or on my doorstep after delivery.
Robert Oster, like Diamine, have so many inks that a lot of them seem the same, but renamed. I watched this Yoseka Stationery video showing off a ton of ink swatches and there were many times I thought, “didn’t I just see this ink?” 🤔
The color of these tulips is amazing! Random question, does anyone know of a fountain pen ink that matches this? Bonus if it has multicolor shading like these tulips.
Been watching lots of ink swatching videos on YT. My ink library is already kind of ridiculous, so seeing more inks I want to try doesn’t help, but I can’t resist! 😆
I watched a YT video from Chris Saenz where she mentioned a Platinum “Sugar Plum” ink. I didn’t think Platinum had inks named that, but I found this page which has a bunch of recipes for ink colors using their mixable inks, including a Sugar Plum. I may have to play around with this.
An hour ago we had an earthquake magnitude of about 5. I am happy to report that all of my #FountainPens and #inks survived! Yes, that was the first things I checked.
Shameless blatant begging post : What fountain pen inks are you running with this month, and what has been your favorite this last month?
I am mildly irritated by the dryness of Diamine Registrar's, and Noodlers' Inks still somehow manage to beat my expectations (Twisbi Eco with Rome Burning, Pilot Metro with Antietam). #fountainpens#inks#notebooks
I almost forgot about #InkSwatchWednesday again. This time I'm highlighting Sailor Yurameku Date Gokoro because I recently inked a pen with it and had a breakthrough.
