#retrogaming Who's got SHORT #gameboy homebrew, romhack, underrated, or translated games I can play on my #analogue Pocket?
That's technically anything below a PS1 with an FGPA core, more or less, though GB fits the aesthetic more.
Got it set up on it's dock finally, it's cool but WOOF be careful with your dock you WILL scratch the bottom if it's unprotected and you just push it in.
I can’t wait to play Mother 3. #Earthbound is one of the best games I’ve ever played. Debating if I should give Mother 1 aka Earthbound Beginnings a shot?
I loved how they redid just about all the concept (instruction manual?) art for the GBA version of Zelda: A Link to the Past to be more modernized. It’s really fun to look through all the art style changes.
This doesn’t generally happen nowadays because companies don't tend to go back and just redo all the concept art to be more modern-style with the originals as reference.
I'm kinda craving to play #GameBoy Advance games on real hardware. It doesn't have to be *genuine *hardware, but real hardware without emulation. Is there any way to achieve that without buying one of the incredibly expensive used units?
