So #Plex has a "sonic adventure" feature that lets you put in two or more songs then it fills in a playlist which selects tracks of sonically similar values leading from song to song until you reach the target using tracks from your collection.
Here is a playlist it generated going from Phoenix by The Tear Garden to Lisztomania by Phoenix.
I would not have created this playlist on my own.
Also it is fun to see #fedi artists pop up in playlists based on sonic thumbprint.
:mastodon: The Trouble with Forking Mastodon
— @news
"In light of the announcement of Mastodon’s US-based 501c3 Non-Profit, and the reveal of that organization’s board members, there has been backlash from members of the Mastodon community. Some people are even saying that this is the last straw, it’s time for a hard fork of the project!"
This #OpenSource#FlipperZero alternative is looking like a great new tool to tinker with. It's using a #HackBat hat on a #RaspberryPi, it's cheaper, and the source code is available. Anyone on #Fedi make one yet?
I liked people posting annoying commentary as quote-tweets a lot better than when they do it in comments. Quotes were easier to ignore - because it felt that they were meant for their followers, not for me to react to and to manage (esp. if I don't want to be flooded with notifications). Can't wait for the feature.
(Because this is #fedi: you may feel different about this. It is obviously fine. Be civil, don't mansplain - even if you are not a man.)
