One of the reasons why we don't give web developers access to infrastructure and security systems:
They don't know how certificates work, and think https has something to do with DNS.

And #pleaseboost until I edit THIS to add an answer if there's ever any.

EDIT 1: Which means you'll get notified too as soon as someone replies with a solution.

EDIT 2: And once there's a solution still boost it so that it can reach others with the same question.

I'm Puerto Rican, currently living in Puerto Rico. Toots are gonna be in English and Spanish!

Here is how to determine if my Ubuntu/Debian Linux server or desktop needs a reboot. If the file /var/run/reboot-required exists, you need to reboot:

cat /var/run/reboot-required
cat /var/run/reboot-required.pkgs

The cat /var/run/reboot-required.pkgs will tell you the packages name that requires rebooting the system. See https://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/how-to-find-out-if-my-ubuntudebian-linux-server-needs-a-reboot/ for more info.

How many engineers does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

At least 3.

One to write the Jenkinsfile that calls the Ansible playbook that checks the status of 1,000s of lightbulbs across the org to screw in the one that is loose - and two to review the pull request to merge that file into the main branch so it gets deployed in prod.

This is some pure gold. They went from #AWS Serverless to a simple container deployment and saved a ton of money and the "they" is #Amazon!

Every paragraph is zing after zing here - an Amazon engineer advises not using "serverless" in production!

I work with #Kubernetes #InformationSecurity in a #DevOps / #SystemReliabilityExternality way for a living. I used to work in #VideoGames doing #SystemsOperations & before that, #MobileTelephony. We don't talk about my stint in #AdvertisingTechnology.

I like #RolePlayingGames & #HashTags 😈

Here’s one of the many reasons why I stick to simple, replicable, and quickly restorable setups. When you don't have control over your data or rely solely on a specific service, everything could go wrong in an instant.
