'Cluster of Blueberries with Leaves' is my latest botanical artwork created in soft pastels. I think it turned out well and will make some pretty greeting card designs. It will make some great décor prints as well.
So, yeah! I got let go from my job today. I still haven't been able to secure a new job yet. I have fibromyalgia. Please share and consider buying a thing from my online shop! I wish I could focus on this full time tbh. I'll have new stuff coming this summer too!
I’ve been working on several paintings lately, and I’ve finally decided to complete one. I hope that it’s truly finished this time, as I often have a tendency to overthink and stare at my paintings for too long.

They are very friendly and social beings. Their fangs are for devouring smaller fish and aquatic greens.
Always spotted in groups exploring their surroundings.

I feel like I'm in a transitional stage of my art where I'm ready for something new. I want to use more color, work from my imagination, and maybe express some feelings. While I loved doing the magical animals, they didn't feel genuine. I felt like I was constantly comparing them to other people's work. I was also running out of ideas and when I did get inspired, I'd see the exact same thing from several other artists. I didn't know how to make the idea unique to me. The things I've done lately are not performing as well on social media and I don't think they'd sell, but I also don't want to force myself to make work I don't feel a connection to.
