The beauty of this desert land captivates me as my thoughts stretch towards the Canyon and I follow the road to elsewhere. Desert View Drive stretches out over the Arizona desert taking you to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Along the way there is much beauty to be found on this stretch of road before you even enter Grand Canyon National Park.

When night falls the long rectangular lights above the outdoor courtyard in Peachtree Center next to the Hub turn on and if you look up the skylines has a futuristic science fiction vibe. Photo taken in early evening in Downtown Atlanta.

I received many good suggestions when I asked for help on a title. I wanted something mystical & magical - an actual place name with a strong connection to myth was what I was originally looking for. The more suggestions got, the more 'food for thought' I saw how a table plays a supporting role in everyday life, myth & history.

There are fond memories of playing on the beach building sandcastles. On vacation on the island of Captiva several years ago I had the lucky discovery of this sand castle built on the beach with children coming over to add to it.

@eyeling That is certainly true the leafy tops that is the 'hair' would be weighty for the supporting branches. Dunno - maybe a support wire inside the clay or make the top leafy hair out of a different but lighter material...I definitely think that TotK will have some new characters or things that will drive art creations. And where the heck is Teba? His son is there with the other champions but not Teba????

Spring flowers bloom forth like a lively musical composition playful and free without adhering to the rules for any specific musical form. This lovely white & purple trim flower is a Lisianthus. When I spotted this at the shoppe I knew I wanted to capture a playful piece that was colorful and bold.

The porch - once a prominent part of the home was a place to take a seat, have a glass of cold lemonade on a hot day, read the paper, have a pleasant chat with the neighbor, share a story with friends or family, or daydream. Life as it happened is an homage to the generation of Americans who used to sit on their porch and just enjoy what the day would bring.

Apparently "fucking over the mid-tier artists" is one of those "targeted investment initiatives".

@craigmaloney Thanks for the link - bookmarked to read in depth later today to keep informed. Grrr quick scan and it doesn't look like they will adjust the tier system to one where the artist gets to choose which tier by paying a reasonable yearly fee.
