It would be so easy to fix Bluetooth:
Have a password and e2e for bluetooth connections. Manufacturers could tell us the password of the gadgets like with routers, and we could change our password if we wanted to. If someone wouldn't have the password, they couldn't connect to the device and couldn't harm it. #bluetooth#fix#letsfixit
Something must be in the water, because I just got ANOTHER flare up of people asking me about Faraday bags to prevent phone tracking.
Short answer: A Faraday bag probably doesn't solve your problem; they require great care to use effectively. and your phone can be tracked as soon as you remove it.
But if you DO need one, you want one that actually works. Here's a short writeup I did a while back on the theory and practice of testing them:
Does an Apple #Airtag rely primarily on #Bluetooth to periodically beacon its unique identifiers or does it also passively transmit on the shorter range but harder to jam, multi frequency, #UltraWideBand ?
Or does it only do so in response to an iPhone initiated Find Me active scanning request ?

The cats wore the collars willingly. My more rambuctious cat (the male) knocked his tracker off a few times, but didn't seem bothered by it. I never had any issues with his sister - until last night.
That's when it stopped registering her at all. So today I grabbed her to pull the tracker off - the back (and battery!) had fallen off...somewhere.
Was habe ich denn für Möglichkeiten, 2 oder mehr #Bluetooth Kopfhörer mit einem Handy (o.Ä.) zu verbinden zum Hören? Das Android kann das nicht von Haus aus und das Gerät hat auch keine Klinke-Buchse (für Bluetooth Splitter die man darüber anschließen könnte).
Ich will einfach ein kleines Gerät das ich als Kopfhörer/Empfänger verbinden kann und das selbst Host für die echten Kopfhörer ist, sowas scheint es aber nicht zu geben?

Just got a pair of Audioengine HD3's. Must say I'm impresseed...great soundstage, presence amd imaging... The perfect #bluetooth#speakers to use with my #raspberypi400 ... :)
Vor ungefähr einem Jahr habe ich schonmal über einen Microformats Bluetooth-Export mit Hilfe von Tails-Export geschrieben. Da sich aber nach und nach der Operator als DAS Microformats-Addon für den Firefox durchgesetzt hat, wurde natürlich auch das Bluetooth-Script portiert.
