#MisterCarcosa, much like the #SlenderMan, is an emergent folklore phantasm. Supposed encounters and rumours play a part in building up the narrative structure that supports and forms the creature. Initially, the sinister figure, had no name/identification. Depending on the accounts, his appearance varies from the typical #MenInBlack to Tall-man ~ Slender Man physique and garments. A few accounts, report Mister Carcosa struggling to hold on to his form, and hurrying off. Sightings of large owl like creatures (similar to #TheMothman) flying near where Carcosa had appeared were reported.
This Halloween Season, the staff and students of Miskatonic University have put together a wonderful weird Haunted House Art Installation. Some folks are dying to visit, others can not get enough of the interactive display, while others are having trouble pulling themselves from the paranormal dark arts installation.
