Ich gucke gerade nochmal “The Handmaid’s Tale”. Bedrückend war das ja immer - das Buch, der Film, die Serie. Was mich nun bestürzt, ist, dass einiges gar nicht mehr so utopisch weit entfernt ist: Die Erstarkung von rechtem Terror und Faschismus, weltweit. (In der Serie sind die Anfänge gut dargestellt). NSU, ein als Terroranschlag getarnter Staatsstreich (bislang misslungen: Sturm auf das Capitol), ein amerikanischer - oder anderweitiger - Gottesstaat. Mega gruselig.

This, for me, is nothing with regard to her. But that she does so publicly in combination with doing so is a bit surprising.
If you see her as a fascist, there isn't even the hypocrisy left that you rightly point out.
If you think about #TheHandmaidsTale and the excursions to that nightclub, it is the same behavior.
