Die Funktion bei Signal sich einen Nickname zu erstellen ist ja seit ein paar Tagen aus dem Beta-Status Ich hab vermutlich vorhin bereits die erste Spam-Anfrage erhalten das hat also nicht lange gedauert.
Is it just me, or did #Facebook recently kill #Messenger video calls in #Firefox on macOS? It used to work until a few weeks ago, now the call button isn't even there where it used to be. Works fine in Chrome. Time to convert my mom to #Signal?
#facebook has A/Bed me out of using web messenger on my phone (without getting hacky). So now I'm proselytizing #signal again, but with ultimatum undertones. Purpose of a system is what it does etc etc.

C'est cool de pouvoir choisir plusieurs manières pour les gens de vous contacter: nom d'utilisateur, URL ou QR code.
Et le réglage de la confidentialité du numéro de téléphone (séparé) est bien :
"In short, if you’re worried about Signal handing over your phone number to law enforcement based on your username, you should only set a username when you want someone to contact you, and then delete it afterward. And each time, always set a different username."
Since last update, @signalapp let you create an username and share it with others by QRcode or link (thank you @maique for the tip), without have to share your phone number 😀
This will be my new DM system. No need for private messages through social networks anymore 👌

Yesterday, I went to a kid's birthday party, and the mom asked me to send the photos I clicked from my phone. I asked her how to communicate and gave her options between #WhatsApp, #Signal, and #Telegram. But all she had was Apple iMessage.
We settled on sending her pics by uploading them to Mega and sharing the link by email.
This is what #Apple does to its users. Box them into thinking there is nothing beyond what Apple has provided them.
We're getting reports that #Signal v7.0 is starting to roll out to all users on Android, iOS, and Desktop.This release includes usernames and phone-number-privacy!
On Android and iOS, check for updates in your app store. On Desktop, the update should automatically appear when you open the app.

Literal esa integración es todo lo que me falta para borrar a WhatsApp.
