RocketWerkz in New Zealand is looking for a Vulkan Graphics Programmer and is offering competitive pay and relocation assistance to the right candidate.
Will some kind #FFMPEG#programmer - @lisamelton maybe - read this short 🧵 (cos my server doesn't allow large posts). It's only 4 posts long, but I am SO FRUSTRATED!
AudioVisuals coded in #livecodelab
Tweaked for Visuals
For this combinational prompt, I will be taking my submission for Quadratic: Rect ^ 2 and merging it with a new coded entry for Counting. The counting occurs through different iterations of assessing the time variable
Overlaid sketches that were coded in LiveCodeLab
Poem
Rectangles roaming
Rotating & rolling
Running & rimming along
Reciting the rhymes that belong
Twirling and twisting
Avoiding the mistakes that were tripping
As the angles of the others are tilting
Tiling and tipping
Tipping to the ways as the rectangles are roaming

I played #Satisfactory recently. I really like it. And I like games like #Spacechem (haven't played #Factorio, but I think it is cool).
Many say it is essentially #programming. And since I'm a #programmer, I naturally love this kind of stuff.
But I can't play them for too long.
Why?
Because I develop software, it's my day job. And develop more as pet projects occasionally. Idea of sinking hundreds of hours more into a game like that repels me.
If you reply to someone, then open the emoji window, the comment box is so far down the screen that the emoji window goes off the screen and there's no way to move it upwards.
A workaround is to fill the comment box with line breaks so the emoji window icon is further up screen, then you can see what you're doing.
But why can't it appear clearly on screen? Also, maybe a close window button would be useful too - for mobile use and whatnot.
I am Melissa, a #trans#music producer, all-around full-stack #programmer, reverse engineer, open source nerd, and occasional #FPV quadcopter pilot. :blob_cat_melt:
Random #Programmer thought: Shouldn't tracebacks really be called tracethroughs? (Trace throughs) Not all tracebacks go back. Python's, for example, goes from oldest to newest, so, that's not really tracing back?
Look I've never been and will never be a #Programmer but I've been a user since the late 70's when my scout leader took us to his office in the Pentagon and showed us a green screen and typed a message to a friend in Hawaii. Nothing special but this was #ARPANET in 1978! So HelloWorld hits me in a very personal way.
Now if only the damn package I need actually worked!!
I somehow can understand the appeal of creating videos for sharing your thoughts/news.
But videos are
👎 not indexable
👎 not searchable
👎 not copy-paste friendly if at all
👎 impossible to skim through
👎 a major distraction from the train of thoughts
PLEASE write down your material if you care about effective comms. A blog, toot, tweet, github gist, whatever...Just do it ™
It wasn't until the mid 1990s, a good dozen or so years after I started, that I came to the realisation that I was nowhere as good a #programmer as I had innocently (read "stupidly") believed I was in those early days.
#Programming is an intensely mathematical and an continuously humbling intellectual exercise. How grand....
