Today’s mod has been installing an xStation into a PlayStation 1. A perfect fit for a system with broken CD drive. Now I’ve got a 128 GB microSD card in there loaded with games.
Also, the 8BitDo controller adapter works so well with a DualShock 4. Wireless controller!
Found a complete #PSVR for $100, so I had to grab it. I was actually holding out on playing #ResidentEvilVII for when I would finally be able to try it in VR.
So I broke out my (mostly) retired PS4 Pro. At first, everything seemed kind of blurry. Then, I used the eye adjustment option, and that cleared things up.
The only problem was that I got motion sickness. I'm not sure if I just have to get used to it, or if I need to start taking anti-nausea pills, use wristbands, etc. Does anyone else have this issue? Any ideas on how to counter it?
Also, it seems you need an adapter to use the PSVR on a #PS5. It seems that #Sony was giving them out for free if you contacted them. It appears in the #USA, though, you have to call, and you can't request it through their website. I haven't had a chance to call yet. I have a bad feeling the offer might be expired. Does anyone in the US have any recent experience with this?
The one thing that annoys me most about the ubiquitous coverage of a $3.500 headset is not even about the Vision Pro.
As someone whose only VR headset is the PS VR2, it's painful to see that not a single video I watched, not a single post I read even mentions it. Every headset on this planet is mentioned, compared and shown. But nobody talks about the PS VR2.
That's really frustrating, when you paid 600€ for something. Especially if you realize not even Sony mentions it anymore really. And most importantly: Game Developers ignoring it almost completely already.
Gerade nochmal etwas #BeatSaber gespielt.
What the fuck? 😅
Who else is rocking an #Anbernic#RG35XX handheld console? I've got GarlicOS on mine and I love having access to so many different platforms on tap. And then I thought I can stream it more...
With the price increase in every single tech subscription service of today already happening or coming, I think it's high time to reconsider whether we really need all the streaming, video games, task management programs, etc.
Because I understand the rising costs of living, but some companies are being utterly rude toward their paying customers.
I clearly overestimated the first hour of #DemonsSouls. Or rather, I overestimated the confrontational part of it. I expected merciless difficulty right from the start. Instead, the first hour impressed with its terrific atmosphere and outstanding design. Enemies weren’t particularly difficult. The hardest part was getting used to the slow-paced combat. The boss Phalanx was more a matter of patience than anything else. — #PlayStation#Gaming#ShareYourGames
That Nintendo Direct did nothing for me. Ah well. I guess I just have to face it - I’m not a Switch gamer and I neber was and never will become one. I liked a few games here and there (mostly Pokémon and Animal Crossing) but that was it for me regarding the Switch. I’d love to watch the PlayStation thingy later - should be more interesting to me - but I honestly cannot stay up until 11PM. I’m too old. 🥱 #NintendoDirect#PlayStation#Gamer
I'm on a mission to collect and share manuals from QJ/STD/Interact's ProPad, ProgramPad and Programmable controllers for #SEGA, #Nintendo, #Playstation and PC. You could teach these pads to replay combos and pull off tricky moves perfectly every time with a single button press. Unfortunately they can be complex to use, and rarely appear with an intact manual second-hand.
So - got an old ProgramPad sitting around, but lost the manual? I can help! 🧵 👇
I recently installed LaunchBox on my Ryzen/Windows rig and it's enabled me to get into PSP/Wii/GameCube/DS. I've had the ROMs since forever, but I could barely ever get RetroArch to locate them. Now I have box art and the controls are reasonably well configured!!
Currently playing #Nier: Replicant, #FinalFantasy IV, and #ShadowComplex. Enjoying Nier: Replicant so far. FFIV was the FF game of my childhood but never got around to finishing it so here we go. And Shadow Complex is a fun metroidvania.
Been feeling under the weather the past couple of days. Yesterday was especially bad.
Not sure what's going on. Quite a lot of stomach pain and something that resembles a bladder infection, although it's linked to stomach cramps.
Pretty sure it's linked to the large amount of medication I had to take a couple of weeks ago. Still on some now. :catrawr:
Tried to cheer myself up with these.
Couldn't pass them up since I got quite a good deal for them.
Still can't sing in to my PlayStation account in any browser anywhere, at least my PS5 is still currently signed in. Have they been hacked, anyone else having issues trying to sign in to your account in a browser? #PlayStation
GamesMaster 180 - Christmas 2006 (UK) has just been added to the magazine catalogue and I think this might very well be the best cover they have ever done.
I’ve had this game for several years, but now that I’m looking at it carefully. I just finished Chapter I and I can say that it is a very engaging story. For those who are a fan of Batman Year One, this game is for you.
Despite the problems it went through, Telltale has always known how to make narrative games of exceptional quality. It’s no different here.
As I was working on that latest GamesMasters issue, I came across the article for Just Cause 2 and remembered just how much I enjoyed the chaos that game brought, so I decided to hunt down the complete edition of Just Cause 3.
Have you played the FF XVI demo?
I just played through and I’m enthralled. I’m so impressed with how real used the world feels, and the much more mature tone.
