The brand new rescan of Sega Pro 5 - March 1992 (UK) has just been added to the preliminary magazine catalogue.
As always, this new version has much more accurate colour levels as well as extra shadow detail and overall clarity.
So please grab the one form the "preliminary" section and not the "completed magazines section" to get the new one.
On #MasterSystemMonday here’s “Wonder Boy”. This is a 1987 port of #Sega’s System 1 arcade from a year earlier, with Sega handling the port in-house. It’s a well known platform game, and the first in a long series of games. #Retrogaming#MasterSystem
NEW EPISODE: We take on three short but intense shoot ‘em ups for the Mega Drive / Genesis, Master System, and Game Boy color. Shmup fans, don’t miss this one! Find it at http://homebrewgameclub.com or on your podcast app of choice!
On #MasterSystemMonday here’s “Terminator 2: Judgment Day”. This is a 1993 action game developed by Arc Developments & published by Flying Edge, based on the 1991 movie. It is not to be confused with the entirely different “T2: The Arcade Game”.
This is renowned as a poor game for the #Sega#MasterSystem, especially for annoying sound & weak graphics.
It’s actually a port of the #NES game rather than the superior #MegaDrive version.
Will be going live on #Twitch at 12:30 AM CST will be starting my playthroughs of Sega Master System games in alphabetical order. I will be trying Ace of Aces again first attempt didn't stream properly oh please boost this post as I'm a #SmallStreamer and raids are greatly appreciated.
A latency-hating emulator of 8- and 16-bit platforms: the Acorn Electron, Amstrad CPC, Apple II/II+/IIe and early Macintosh, Atari 2600 and ST, ColecoVision, Enterprise 64/128, Commodore Vic-20 and Amiga, MSX 1/2, Oric 1/Atmos, early PC compatibles, Sega Master System, Sinclair ZX80/81 and ZX Spectrum....
The #3DO version is my fave, followed by Road Rash 3D on #PSX for the ability to just drive anywhere and enjoy the map, and lastly the #SEGA#MasterSystem port for the sheer technical wizardry for the hardware.
On #MasterSystemMonday here’s “Star Wars”. This is a 1993 port of a 1991 #NES game, based on the film, ported to #Sega#MasterSystem by Tiertex & published by US Gold. It’s mainly an action platformer, but there are also crosshair shooting & shoot-em-up sections. #Retrogaming
