On #MasterSystemMonday here’s “Wonder Boy”. This is a 1987 port of #Sega’s System 1 arcade from a year earlier, with Sega handling the port in-house. It’s a well known platform game, and the first in a long series of games.

On #MasterSystemMonday here’s “Terminator 2: Judgment Day”. This is a 1993 action game developed by Arc Developments & published by Flying Edge, based on the 1991 movie. It is not to be confused with the entirely different “T2: The Arcade Game”.

This is renowned as a poor game for the #Sega #MasterSystem, especially for annoying sound & weak graphics.

It’s actually a port of the #NES game rather than the superior #MegaDrive version.

On #MasterSystemMonday here’s “Star Wars”. This is a 1993 port of a 1991 #NES game, based on the film, ported to #Sega #MasterSystem by Tiertex & published by US Gold. It’s mainly an action platformer, but there are also crosshair shooting & shoot-em-up sections.

On #CIBSunday here’s “Resident Evil”. This 2002 remake of the 1996 #PlayStation game was developed & published by #Capcom for the #GameCube as part of an exclusivity deal with #Nintendo. It retains the same gameplay as the original but with improved graphics.

On #HuCardHuesday here’s “PC Genjin 3” also known as “PC Kid 3” and, in the US, as “Bonk’s Big Adventure”. This 1993 game developed by Red & published by #HudsonSoft is the third & most advanced of the #PCEngine’s flagship platform series.

On #SegaSunday / #CIBSunday here’s “Sonic Shuffle”. This is a year 2000 game co-developed by #HudsonSoft and #SonicTeam. It’s a board game style multiplayer game and was #Sega’s attempt to create a rival to the #MarioParty series from #Nintendo.

Shenmue II was released on the #Sega #Dreamcast in 2001 in Europe & Japan but was never released in the USA due to an exclusivity deal #Microsoft negotiated for the #Xbox version of the game.

On #HuCardHuesday here’s “Gate of Thunder”. This is a 1992 horizontal shoot-em-up on Super CD-ROM2 format, developed by Red Entertainment & published by HudsonSoft. It’s very similar to the Thunderforce games & many ex-Technosoft employees were involved.

On here’s “Avenger”. This is a 1990 vertically scrolling helicopter shoot-em-up developed by Telenet and published by Laser Soft on CD-ROM2 format. For a CD based game, this is a little basic, but it’s actually not a bad game.
