I'll try something with this: you can buy a pack of high resolution versions of this for 1€ (or more if you like) over on my shop: https://ko-fi.com/s/96421ebf30
It includes the full size original version for printing, a 4K wallpaper for desktop and laptop screens, one that should fit most phone lock screens, and a faded one for use on a phone home screen, and a square version.
Evening mograph. More play with the Concentric Instancer. Had to compress the ever luvvin f out of this to get it small enough to post. Looks a bit better in the original Klingon, as one might imagine. #Blender3D#B3D#GenerativeArt#3DArt#MartianGraphics
This is my weekly cabinet of curiosities, a roundup of articles, art, and internet ephemera that I've enjoyed recently. This week: shipwrecks, electrical mushrooms, computer art, and more...! ⚓⚡ 🍄 👾
This in-depth article by Amy Goodchild on the development of early computer art (plus electronic, kinetic and mechanical art), focusing on the 1950s and 60s
Afternoon mograph. Happy little space maggots, flipping as they float. Continuing to experiment with using Curve Deform to animate point clouds, and using the curve's twist to add some spice here.
I'm also mixing the animation down, which makes the nature of the movement less apparent, and a little more organic. A while back, I added Mix sliders to most of my nodes, and it's a continually surprising and useful feature. "Do this... but a little less." #Blender3D#B3D#GenerativeArt#3DArt
New pen plot inspired by dazzle ships: thin bisecting white space lines with bounded areas shaded in Breton stripes. 11”x17” Bristol on a HP 7550+ #PenPlotter
Another dazzle ships inspired plot. I love the almost center vertical line that slices through and interrupts everything. 11”x17” Bristol on a HP 7550+ #PenPlotter
This dazzle ships inspired plot is more chaotic but to me feels like it has more depth? Also, I recently learned a group of zebras can be called a dazzle so there’s that. 🙃 11”x17” Bristol on a HP 7550+ #PenPlotter
Adding constraints to this dazzle ships inspired pen plot. I thought this was turned out great. Railway ties, tank track, and bar codes are what I see. What do you see? 11”x17” Bristol on a vintage HP 7550+ #PenPlotter
Experimenting with drawing bees today. I don't want them to be too realistic, but also not too abstract. Still haven't gotten the wings right. It's work in progress.
