Grounding, centering mostly #Kerala style #Lunch at home today - all partner's cooking. Leftover Kaalan and sauteed vegetables - and then some terrific Red #Fish#Curry (with branzino) Cooked yesterday so the flavors have seeped and 'pickled' especially the sour of the kodampuli (dried garcinia gummi-gata). Had the curry with last bit of some kaachi-moar (cooked/scalded turmeric and spiced yogurt) #Food Cooking #Indian
When I get around to it I'll stick some of my cooking reminders / motivation stuff here to inspire my choices, and it's public in case useful for anyone else. #cook#cooking#recipes#cook#cooking#recipes#vegan#wfpb
@LifeTimeCooking You'd be proud of me. I started making a chicken biryani last night and Miss 4 decided she would help. So she now knows about measuring out spices, using the spice grinder, marinading chicken etc
Surprisingly she was actually quite useful #CookingWithQuokka#Curry
My Pakistani chicken and potato curry from Saturday's "kids come visit" meal. It really doesn't rest heavy on the stomach despite the potatoes, so it's a good spring dinner

An interesting dish served in a coffee shop restaurant in Kuala Kangsar, Perak, Malaysia during our recent holiday trip. It is curry prawns and vegetables in a tinfoil pan and wrapped with bread.
The bread had a crispy skin with a lovely soft texture. And it tasted wonderful dipped in the curry sauce.
My first novel is a #sciencefiction thriller about what happens when GM food goes wrong. Since then I've published a #fantasy trilogy about a bunch of colonists who discover the planet they intend to colonise is already inhabited - by a race who can wield magic.
Currently working on a second trilogy set in that world and when I'm not doing that you'll find me watching #movies, eating #curry or possibly both at the same time.
