Browsing through the new Extensions section (previously called "Add-ons") in the Blender 4.3 Alpha build preferences, I stumbled upon an extension that should be able to import native 3ds Max files. It even supports V-Ray and Corona materials. I haven't tested it yet, but I hope it works!

The other day where I live I noticed a building made of tabby concrete, a type of concrete with broken oyster shells inside. Its surface was breaking, revealing the oysters incorporated in the matrix of the concrete. I've recreated it in Substance Designer and rendered it with Eevee Next.
