Yesterday we were preparing a place for Tbilisi Guix Meetup and one of the residents of hackerspace brough an arm thinkpad. It's the first RISC laptop I see in person that feels modern and satisfying.
It's surprisingly difficult to find options for laptops shipping #Fedora or any other supported non-ChromeOS flavor of #Linux from the #Lenovo website.
@thefossguy What I was really hunting for when I started down this rabbit hole is if the #ThinkPad T14 Gen 6 supports #Fedora with the new Qualcomm #ARM offering.
So far, I've yet to find info either way on that one.

Armbian Update gemacht => ZFS geht nicht mehr, weil Paketversionen inkompatibel sind.
Armbian-Leute wissen Bescheid, aber haben kein Interesse, das zeitnah zu lösen, weil die Version fürs Rock64 nur "Community maintained" ist und sie andere Prios haben.
Ich lasse es mir eine Lehre sein und verzichte wohl dann bald mal auf Armbian. Oder kaufe dann doch was x86 mäßiges, weil mir das Gefummeln und Gebastel mit dem Ding eh schon zu viel Arbeit gemacht hat. 🙄
I wonder if #Linux has some kind of minimal #qemu and/or #KataContainers way to run x86 applications on an #ARM host, similar to Rosetta for MacOS or the similar WIP Microsoft compatibility.
