Climate change is going to bankrupt the U.S. and make large parts of the world unlivable including places in the U.S. if our progress isn’t at the very least upheld.
Trump is the biggest threat in the U.S. to the health of the planet and life on it. Anyone who doubts it now won’t in 2025.
For dealing with climate change it’ll be game over. We are already out of second chances
@TonyStark The question that is the elephant in the room for me is: why hasn’t anyone “gotten rid” of him yet? Is this the fatal flaw of American democracy; that it doesn’t matter if a candidate is actively planning to disassemble it as long as the principle that anyone can run for President is upheld?
@TonyStark I’m not saying that drastic measures, up to and including unalivement, should be taken to prevent the collapse of American democracy. But I sure am thinking it very loudly.
@WhiteCatTamer@enoch_exe_inc@TonyStark Saying (and hashtagging) that is how I got kicked out of Twitter. All because of my frustration with the Capitol Insurrectionists and anti-vaxxers spilling over into an understanding of (and sudden desire for) why mass political purges are sometimes necessary.
@enoch_exe_inc@WhiteCatTamer Yeah, don’t say that here, either. All of the instances you’re on and talking to have rules about that. Few admins want to be held responsible for incitement to violence.
@TonyStark@enoch_exe_inc People know what unalivement means, and it’s people’s reports that result in bans. If you wouldn’t say kill then you wouldn’t say unalivement.
@WhiteCatTamer@TonyStark@enoch_exe_inc I only use “unalive” as a meme; in reality, my Twitter ban was the result of many years of saying “kill” in extremely roundabout and euphemistic ways, all of which were presented as “evidence” that my appeals should be dismissed because of that one lapse of judgement in saying the quiet part loud.
@WhiteCatTamer@TonyStark@enoch_exe_inc For example, I’d say something like: “It my recommendation that [person; usually someone as despicable as Ted Cruz] should lower their rate of metabolism such that it ceases entirely through means of acute acetylcholinesterase inhibition.”
