@stefan That infuriates me. No, it is not fair. Not in the slightest. At this point, we are actively making it harder to be an ally. I apologize for this. Thank you for doing what you can to help. Critics can either chip in and try to help, or take a seat until they are willing to do so.

I generally agree with the idea of "nothing about us without us". You do want to make sure that your actions actually help people you advocate for, so at least consulting with the appropriate communities should definitely be done.
Which I did, through posting about my work with relevant hashtags, so, you know. Doing my best here, I suppose.
@stefan I very much support that site and initiative! (And it's good git training for me, too, I guess!) I will try to put some effort into this, in case I find time during the weekend and one of my languages is missing! 🤝
It's really just the translation guide that's hosted on GitHub. Have a look at the instructions, it's all done through WordPress, to make it a bit easier.
I generally don't like asking people to do free work, especially if they're from a disadvantaged group. I figured this is something I can take on as an ally.
But getting called out does kind of stink, so now I can at least say that I tried?
