@Imperor That`s why I rarely even buy games from AAA companies anymore. They enshittified everything about gaming so much.

Always-on in singleplayer, annoying launchers, incredibly invasive anti cheat measures... that suck at catching cheaters, chat bots instead of support, ...

Indie Games are so much better about all of this!

@goblin For sure, there is less and less incentive to buy anything triple A or from big gaming studios.

On top of being economically exploitative like crazy, they're also routinely horrible working places with every kind of harassment under the sun.

More and more I'm drifting into patient gamer mode. I buy used for the PS4 a lot (thanks GameStop) to avoid giving these companies a single cent.

Luckily, stuff also goes on sale much sooner these days than ever before.

Hopefully Ubi will deliver. I'm a bit sceptical still but the game has so much potential😍

I'm glad anyone but just EA gets a shot at Star Wars. Ubisoft games are derivative as heck, but they're also often quite fun when they first start out with a new IP. Maybe there's a chance they made something worthwhile.
