Voyager 2 breaks out of the bubble (2019)

After 41 years of travel, Voyager 2 exited the heliosphere on 5 November 2018 at a distance of 119 au. This issue features five papers reporting plasma, particle and magnetic field measurements from the heliosheath, heliopause and interstellar medium, and their implications for our knowledge of the heliosphere.

A superb cover for this issue of the Nature Astronomy Journal, featuring a Tidal Disruption Event (TDE) triggered by a star passing close to a supermassive black hole.

Such a TDE has been found to be the likely source of a high energy neutrino observed by the IceCube neutrino detector array.

Dwarf galaxies punching above their weight.

Featuring the Wolf–Lundmark–Melotte galaxy, one tenth the size of the Milky Way. Despite their diminutive size, dwarf #galaxies have emerged as key laboratories for studying open questions in several areas of #astrophysics.

A most beautiful cover for the new issue of the Nature Astronomy journal

"Four eyes see better than one"

Two thousand hours of observations split between four 25–32 m telescopes have produced a comprehensive overview of the high-energy radio emission from repeating fast radio burst source FRB 20201124A. The burst characteristics resemble those of non-repeating burst sources, suggesting a link.
