Ketchup is a pretty common condiment on burgers (a hamburger sandwich), but you almost never see any other kind of sandwich that comes with ketchup. I wonder why.

@MLE_online When I lived in Australia I was surprised that Aussie used ketchup (or "tomato sauce") more than we do. On burgers, meat pies, chips, and, relevant here, sausage sandwiches. That's the only other sandwich I can think (we Americans would tend towards mustard on such a sanger).

@flexghost They also go way out of their way to codify male/female, biological sex trait signifiers, as being 1:1 equivalent to the words man/woman, which are social constructs (i.e. - descriptions people use, not biological codified signifiers).
They want to take those away as well so that saying 'a transgender woman' would now mean (by their new standard) a biological female who is transgender, and vice versa.

And of course 'person' includes corporations. 🤬

@danilo They made an IP claim (which is their right) against me and said I cannot sell my SNW Tricorder or Phaser (and presumably Communicator, I didn't have one up at the time and didn't want to press my luck).
I had hoped this meant they would be releasing their own for sale, but... not holding my breath.

@danilo The whole pushback is also scattered. I think the Roddenberry company has probably said 'go easy on TOS fans', but for the other franchises, especially SNW, Viacom/ViacomCBS/Paramount Global seem to be more aggressive.

"Why is the economy measured by how well the rich are doing?"
and
"Why are there so many billionaires anyway?"

So it's no wonder the Republican party, the party of billionaires, has a fake billionaire at the top of their ticket. And then in true GOP fashion, they did so by selling it to the poor as "this is your guy!"
