At Nancy Fest this weekend, a celebration of the comic strip Nancy’s heyday under Ernie Bushmiller (1905–1982, produced strip 1925–1982), Ernie's late-in-life best friend Jim Carlsson attended and was consulted (sometimes live from stage) for more details about Ernie! A dapper gent whom Ernie and his wife, Abby—who had no children—relied on in their later years, and now an antiques appraiser, he was able to express how much he knew Ernie would have loved it.

@hotdogsladies The switch to room sound/reverb on the tom section is something else. It threatens to bury the vocals. I imagine there must have been a lot of "are you sure?" around that decision.
