My looks like it is on its last legs. It is a Series 4 that I wear and use every day and the battery was already struggling to make it through a day. But now it is kinda freaking out. Randomly switching around like I’m tapping or swiping. I’ve power cycled, restored from backup, and wiped it clean and started fresh. That seems to indicate a hardware problem. Can I hold out until September?

I have a pair of earbuds that I bought for $20 in 2020 when we first all went remote. These things have been great but I fidget with the case, including the built in USB cable and now it is shorted or frayed or something and I have to finagle it to charge. I could replace them in a heartbeat, but that isn’t the point! It is now a mission to limp these cheap, low quality, broken things along and see how far we can go.

I like the way you think. The batteries are ok and the battery life is still surprisingly good for how much I use them! The problem is the case. It won’t accept any incoming power to charge the buds.

Anyone have an (overpriced) Ridge wallet? They now have a MagSafe version and even given the price I'm seriously considering picking one up. I have an Apple MagSafe Wallet today but I want to carry more cards (plus I kinda hate this thing, getting cards out with 3 cards in it is a bitch). I'm a fan of the "idea" of a MagSafe wallet (just not Apple's implementation), which is why the new Ridge is tempting.

I feel like it is suspicious how many replies I have saying “yeah, I own that!” But, ummm, yeah. I have a Ridge wallet! It is just a regular old model, not MagSafe. I’d say it is…fine. Absolutely overpriced. But, very durable. One of the biggest draws was the RFID blocking. I have about 6 or 7 cards in there at any given time and sometimes it is tricky to leaf through them to find the one you need. I tend to keep the most used in front or back to make it easier.
