Attorney General Todd Rokita Tells Monroe County to Rescind ‘Sanctuary City’ Policies
"Attorney General Todd Rokita has issued a threat to local officials in Monroe County, home to the city of Bloomington, along with several other Indiana localities: rescind “sanctuary city” policies or face legal action starting July 1."
I'm a foodie. I love to eat and say awesome sauce.
I love animals. I have a doggie named Dijon. I have a bunch of feral cats, in fact one of my cats just had kittens. So when you get the chance, tell my mom congrats, she's a grandma again! Lol.
I'm a musician. I play instruments, but I also mix and master my own music.
Anddd I went to Bishop Chatard High School in Indy. I'm a Hoosier fan (new Hoosier fan, I'm on year 4). #Introduction
Congrats on the kittens. We just have one grumpy old cat at our house and that seems to be plenty for us.
While I have absolutely zero musical talent, I think you’ll find some pretty accomplished musicians around here including our other Admin, @thekitmalone (link to her music in bio).
I grew up in Lafayette so lean more #boilerup but really I’m way more invested in the #Wabash/DePauw rivalry.
Just this morning, our Legal sent advice on how to disable AI note takers or leave the meeting (we deal with PHI and clinical data). And yours is insisting on it? Wild. It is going to take a while for everyone to sort this all out.
If a bot cannot be removed from the meeting and either one or more participants are not comfortable proceeding, or the meeting content will include sensitive, confidential, or proprietary information*, end the meeting and create a new meeting link with the following settings:
a. Disable anonymous join;
b. Add a lobby so that participants must be let into the meeting; and
c. Set all external participants to “attendees” so they cannot let other participants into the meeting.
I wasn’t abvailable during the live broadcast but wanted to let y’all know that I was able to listen to the recording this afternoon. Good job and thanks for representing.
#HoosierMast What do you do when you can’t sleep? I like to sit on my porch and watch the cars race by. It’s my favorite thing about my street. They like to race around here. I do wish it was safer though #indianapolis
Usually I move to the basement. Quiet, cool, and it has become associated enough with alternative-sleep-location in my brain that I have a Pavlovian response.
Full weekend: Sat: 70 mile ride checking out Big 4 trail from Zionsville to Colfax - adventure involving some big bumps (knocked our rack pack off the bike), trees down and misc debris (previous night's storm), navigation from Whitestown to Lebanon where there is no trail, and then through Lebanon and Thorntown where it's not easy to wind through if you don't know where you're going. We started/ended at Randy's parents so included visiting. Ate dinner at 9:30 pm.
I agree that the Big 4 Trail needs a lot better signage through most of town in Lebanon, especially on the South side. There are still plans to continue improving it but there are a lot of new building projects in Lebanon. I hope that it still get some priority.
My cousin couldn’t go to Carb Day and hooked me up with Hullman Terrace Suite tickets. My son had never been to the track so we went down to check it out. I’m glad he got to see the loud cars and louder jets, but this kid was in air conditioning, free food, racing sims, clean bathrooms, garage access passes, etc…I’m not entirely sure he got the typical experience! :)
YESTERDAY was the time to be having conversation about running public transportation to that new $5.3 Billion LEAP district in Boone County with 900 planned with just ONE employer ....
I was listening to a podcast the other day. Everyone was speaking so fast. It made me wonder if it was a new speech pattern or very excited people talking.
I realized later that I had somehow set the playback speed to 1.5x.
