The new antenna didn't really seem to help all that much for receiving dispatch audio. Still some drop outs and a bit blippy at times. Not terrible, but not as great as I'd like. I've got it installed about as high up as I can, and I think I have it pointed in the right direction. All the trees in our area probably aren't helping. I'm sure installing the antenna outside on the roof would be better but I'm not willing to do that for this project. Not sure what to try next.

Anyone have an (overpriced) Ridge wallet? They now have a MagSafe version and even given the price I'm seriously considering picking one up. I have an Apple MagSafe Wallet today but I want to carry more cards (plus I kinda hate this thing, getting cards out with 3 cards in it is a bitch). I'm a fan of the "idea" of a MagSafe wallet (just not Apple's implementation), which is why the new Ridge is tempting.

@brian 😅😅 Well I for one appreciate all your “yeah I have that” replies! Thx! Definitely does feel overpriced BUT the addition of MagSafe has definitely piqued my interest. Hubs has a knock-off of this style of wallet (non-MagSafe) and likes it. Was going to pick up one of those until I saw this new release. 😅 There are very few MagSafe wallets that can easily carry 5-7 cards, so I may just have to bite the bullet and try it out!

I don’t have any “critter repellent” on hand at the moment and I’ve got a squirrel that has twice today dug in my planter on the porch so I just sprinkled dehydrated minced garlic, red pepper flake, and dried jalapeño over the mulch.
