    Yup. Keeping good teachers is already hard enough. I think parents would be surprised how many unlicensed people are in classrooms right now. This certainly won’t help.

    You’re right about the saving money perspective. How short sited! That’s a hell of a long-term expense in terms of educated workforce and citizens in 20 years.

    I can only handle simple stuff if I'm trying to concentrate. Usually it is one of those sound generator apps with rain, maybe a little thunder, and some coffee shop noises. Or, I'll find a random binaural beats thing on YouTube.

    I just figured out that Wish Lists no longer allow you to add non-Amazon links & ideas. There are some local places and Etsy type stuff that I like to support, so this is a deal breaker for me. Any recommendations?

    I’m partial to Google Keep for my own lists & notes and stuff. The trick is going to be migrating all of the grandparents to somewhere that they can use to check things off the list or hit an easy “buy now” button right from the app.

    Moving to a new social network can be hard, especially when you rely on social for news and info. For me moving to Mastodon has been mostly fine... except I can't find much local content for #Indianapolis. So I'll try posting that content myself for a while and see who picks it up.

    Preferring, in order:

    1. Boosting Indy content from this network
    2. Links to Indy content from news sites
    3. Links to Indy content on other networks

    This is not a professional project; I'm just a guy doing a thing.

    In that case, I’ll also recommend checking out your server’s Federated timeline. It is all the posts that your instance knows about because users on your server are following them or interacting. That is often another good way to stumble across accounts to follow.

    Wait, I think I probably misunderstood your question. No, I have to add a new row for each hashtag that I want to follow. But, they’re all coming from the same relay server (FediBuzz) which is how I originally interpreted your question.
