We’re entering the Ubiquiti ecosystem this weekend. Just got a new Cloud Gateway Ultra and U6 Pro access point delivered. May need a second AP to fully cover the house but figured we’d start with one and see. Should be a nice upgrade from our aging Asus access points.

I got a Ubiquiti Edgerouter X when I got fiber and have been pretty happy with it. It is a whole other level of sophisticated administration than I was used to, but once it was set up, it has been solid.

I signed up for a beverage subscription at a local gas station chain. Drinks every six hours, including coffee!

Yup, they sure do! It is actually very close to my house. I used to stop there every day when my kids were little. I had school drop-off duty in the mornings and it was right on our way. I used to get the kids square donuts sometimes.

The in-office day was exhausting, as usual, but accomplished things that would have gone differently or been more difficult remote. I still enjoy being mostly #remote and wouldn’t give it up for anything. But I do see value in the face-to-face every once in a while.

I wonder if these old ads about the sexiness of garbage disposals would be too much for our modern Indiana leaders, such as Mike Pence.

Thanking a man three times a day for a garbage disposal seems like it isn't keeping reproductive activities just for producing children to serve the glory of the lord and the army.

My company’s office is in the original Barbasol shaving cream manufacturing & distribution location. They have some of the old Barbasol ads up in the hallways & lobby’s to recognize the historical significance of the building. Whew, some of those didn’t age very well! Very similar vibe to the example you shared.

I bought this same Belkin for my wife and it is very nice. I still had the charging cables for my watch and phone on my nightstand and didn’t think I needed one until I saw how convenient hers was! I got a cheap knock-off and, honestly, love it just as much. It is actually a little more compact but just as handy. Either way, make sure you have a MagSafe case.

I'm taking a grad school classes for my degree at - it is a remote class, so we are required to make posts on a forum, then post two responses to others.

Annnd, one of my cohort obviously used bad AI saying nothing to make his initial post summarizing an article.

For the people asking about Sup, I've put it on hold pending the new EU laws that require interoperability with large platforms like WhatsApp and Signal.

I'm still working my way around the new laws and requirements so Sup can take advantage, but it requires some refactoring to be compatible.

I think @supapp has the potential to be a game changer for the fediverse, but I want to get it right.

After Loops, I plan to publish the app client + server, likely in May.

Also, thank your local #healthcare worker for the thought and preparation they’re expending in advance of the #april8eclipse. I had no idea about the types of variables, situations, and contingencies they need to account for. No plan is perfect, but they’re sure trying to cover as many bases as possible.
