so instead of sulking about my fatigue, did a bit of yoga adapted for my nuclear boob blues. it felt weird but awesome to have to intentionally move to breathe energy into every spot in my body screaming to be in bed.

gotta get my ass kicking going cuz next Monday i turn 58. i outlived Kissinger, am certainly gonna outlive that fucker Murdoch. and am having cake.

am gonna make it a whole birthMONTH. so even though next monday is my birthday, i am not going to shut the fuck up about it til after June 30th. the last year has been brutal battling cancer and am going to get extra extra celebrating my time on this here Earth.

June is also Puerto Rican Heritage month. there is a 1966 pic of me somewhere in the bowels of the NYTimes with papi holding my newborn self in one hand and a Puerto Rican flag on the other.

and because there is no voguing nor drag houses in NYC without Puerto Ricans, June is also Pride Month.

June is the month to celebrate ME, Puerto Rican heritage & queerness. coincidence? I THINK NOT!
