    @Free_Press He is losing his marbles and the press is so reluctant to point this out to everyone. How about the ‘pause’? He literally stopped speaking for at least 40 seconds. How about fighting WWII, the confession on Meet the Press? He’s always rambled but now; there’s lots of slurring, mispronunciation of words, repeats, and the slow talk, what about all that?

    @stevesilberman Egads, this guy is as dangerous, if not more so, than Stephen Miller. I would like to blame all of the degradation of the public education system on Betsy DeVos, however she is just the most recent example of those who wish to eradicate public education. The NEA is a factor here because it became too powerful to listen to in-the-field-educators but to even entertain that the radical left came forward from the 60s and took over public education is a bridge too far.

RFK Jr is such a kook that no serious journalist should promote or quote anything he says. His campaign needs to die a quiet death.     Affirmative Action is a way to try to right generational wrongs that have caused damage to entire portions of our population, damages that continue to reverberate today.

    Given that the US continues to underfund public primary education in poor and underprivileged communities where generally minorities live in higher proportion, yes, this is breaking history and the future for many in this country.

    @TonyStark You didn’t mention the lucrative voucher system that many states have implemented to also undercut and eventually destroy public education. Florida and Wisconsin are at least two that come to mind. Kirk Bangstad in Wisconsin is working to bring this to the forefront in WI but we do not have enough brave warriors like him fighting the good fight for quality, equitable public education.

Their opinions and takes on issues appear to be slanted quite “right” if you will and some are outright far right. They want to appear centrist but that’s just not what’s happening.

    There are two very wrong, very dangerous claims being made in my mentions right now. One is that nothing ever happens on gun safety. The other is that Democrats have done nothing on the issue.

    There’s even an odd third one claiming Democrats haven’t been bipartisan enough on it. These claims are not only wrong but dangerous to efforts to elect people to office who will bring more change. They’re dangerous to efforts to save more lives. You will learn many things, but foremost among them is that the NRA spent $30 million (THE MOST) on Trump’s campaign in 2016. Deplorables doesn’t begin to cover it!

But then who am I to know? We have enough shit going on in the U.S. to warrant massive unrest and action, but that doesn’t translate to votes either.
